I am so proud of completing my headshots today. Believe me, if I had told my former self that I was gonna become an actor soon, that Aaron would have looked at me like I was bonkers.. There are no words to fully describe the tide of emotions I am feeling currently. I am almost to the finish line!! One year ago, Anne Ford offered me a publicity opportunity through an NPR story. Nearly one year later, I am 8 months in at Limelight Acting Studio, had my headshots done, and am only 4 months away from graduation. With this part done, I just have the soundstage day in 2 months and submissions in 3 months!!
To officially express my gratitude, I want to thank my uncle Kenny Kuang Sheng Tuan for supporting me from the start and offering to cover all my tuition expenses for acting school, vocal training, accent training, and Full Sail University classes. He was a generous man who talked my aunt Grace Kuang Mei Tuan in supporting me in this career field. Without these 2 amazing people in my life, I would not be here today, 8 months in and headshots complete. It takes a lot of effort and guts to invest in an acting and entertainment arts career. Next, I want to thank the magical Kristin Pitts Altman for being my acting coach and giving me the confidence that YES!! I can become an actor and I am able to achieve ANYTHING in life as long as I put my mind, heart, and soul into it. I don’t care if I have cerebral palsy or not, that WILL NOT stop me from pursuing what I love so dearly in life. Lastly, I want to give a huge cheer to Andy Rooney of Exact Digital for helping me get a step closer in turning my acting career into a reality soon. He’s seriously such a cool photographer and I wanna use him for my wedding photos when I get married. Thank you to everyone, including family and friends for cheering me on and supporting me in my pursuant of an acting career. Y’all mean the world to me and I love y’all. Thank you for being a part of this journey and I look forward to having you along for the ride for what is in store for me in the future.
